On the rare occasion your furniture is damaged the damage item must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Although, the furniture is packaged in such a way to prevent most damage, less than 1% of items do have some damage when delivered. The type of damage is consistent with handling methods of the industry, and will be replaced by the store at no charge to the customer. If the damage is not consistent with the normal industry damage further review will be conducted, and claim may be denied. Example of industry damage; A dresser is delivered with a drawer that is broken due to a fork truck hitting it. This type of damage normally does not leave the shipping box damaged, so it would not be noticed until the box was opened. This damaged would be covered by the store, and the store would remedy the problem to the customer’s satisfaction. Example of customer damage; there is a knife cut or cut line on the dresser from opening the packaging up. Since knives or blades are not used in the industry this damage would occur when it was being unpacked. Delivery DOES NOT include the unpacking product plastic or box. Delivery DOES NOT include set up or assembly of furniture. Delivery DOES NOT include haul away of old or existing furniture.
